The Port Authority and its partners are investing $13 billion to transform JFK into a world-class airport. The new airport facilities will open in 2025 and will require numerous goods and services to complete. To facilitate this the Port Authority is conducting a census to collect information about local business and the products and services that local business offers. You will need information on your employees, business history, and products and services to complete this quick survey. $2.8 billion of the development will be spent from The Port Authority’s 2017-2026 Capital Plan. Some highlights from the JFK capital plan include: $48.3 million for HVAC, Plumbing & Sprinklers $437.4 million for Electrical Power & Lighting; and $1.7 billion for Paving and Runways Additional funds are being marshaled privately through terminal developers.
